Do you dread your time of the month, and wish there was a way to make it a little more... special? Do you hate going to the store to buy your menstrual products, embarrassed with whatever you're getting? Well, The Period Store understands. They're a small online start-up with the potential to be HUGE, thanks to their ingenious idea:
Once a month, they will send you period products to your house (tampons/pads/liners/sea sponges, teas, gourmet treats, meds, and art work) just before your time of the month. All you have to do is go online, fill out your personalized package and info, enter a credit card number and VOILA! A lovely care package will be delivered to you monthly.
The idea is simple, but ingenious. I love anything what will make my period more comfortable. And going out and getting all your products, plus some chocolates and teas may get tiresome and expensive. So why not have it all picked out for you and delivered to your home? It's convenient, and their most expensive package costs no more than $30.00! Plus, you are given wide range of choices for your body, including some international products and some highly eco friendly ones. I've already signed up for next month, and I suggest you check it all out for yourself:

In The Closet: Fashion's Night Out!
Hello Everyone!
As some of you may know, every year, around the whole globe, there is one night that kicks off New York Fashion Week called Fashion's Night Out.
Every year, there are events, block parties, fashion shows, sales, and more in honor of this night. By going onto http://fashionsnightout.com/ you can find out when FNO is next year, and what all the events are in your local city. Many events donate proceeds to charity, while many other events are free, or have free food and beverages.
This year's FNO was on September 6th. And while Denver isn't known for its fashion, I did still go out for this event. I took my camera with me to Larimer Square in down town Denver where according to the FNO site there would be a block party. Sure enough, upon arriving, I did see a banner that said "Fashion's Night Out 2012 Larimer Square." However, no one was there for the event! I felt a little disheartened that I wore my most painful pair of heels and wasted some makeup on this event, but I wont let the hard work go to waste! So here is a picture of my outfit from that night:

F.A.B. is expanding from the old blogging system of Blogger to Tumblr! With this expansion I will post more pictures and links to posts on F.A.B.’s main site, and also reblog tons of wonderful content that I find here on Tumblr.
Now don’t think for one second that the Tumblr blog is going to replace the older interface- au contraire- this is going to add more content to the F.A.B. family, and hopefully gain a new set of followers! All written content will be done though Blogger, with links posted here for easier access to a wider audience.
So I am so pleased to say that F.A.B. has officially expanded into Tumblr! Hopefully many of the new followers that I make on Tumblr will follow the main page as well!
Here is a list of all the sites affiliated with the F.A.B. family:

In The Closet: AtSeoul? Try Seoul Picks
Hey everyone!
Remember that really old post about the cute Korean website AtSeoul? Well, they just created a new site that only sells the most coveted and top selling products in Korea called Seoul Picks! It's easier to use than AtSeoul, and more organized. The english site has better translations as well. In my opinion, this site is AtSeoul on steroids! They sell out fast, so hurry up and shop this cute new store!

Narcissist: Prom Night!
Hey Everyone!
I know, I know, it's been a very long time since I last wrote a post. And I'm sorry. But, in my defense (and I'm going to use my usual excuse) I was VERY busy. I've had AP tests, finals, prom, senior checkout, graduation, and graduation parties to attend. These last three weeks I've been very sleep deprived and have had no time for blogging. So again, I'm sorry.
HOWEVER, I'M DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL!
Twelve awful years of American public education, ten different schools, three different states, and I'm done. I feel free at last!
So now that I'm done with all the celebrations and I've got a week before I go off to Paris for my graduation/18th birthday present, I'll post some pictures of probably one of the most important nights for any American girl- PROM! I spent the entire year planning for my prom (seriously). The process was stressful, messy, and dramatic enough for a telenovela, but the end result was a perfect night.
I had my hair and nails done professionally, but my makeup was all done my me. My dress is Diane Von Furstenberg' "Twisted Dreams" gown, rented from Rent The Runway. My shoes were purchased from Nordstrom.
For pre-makeup I used a clay mask, then I used Clinique's Dramatically Different yellow moisturizer [1], and to prep my face I used SmashBox's Photofinish foundation primer (clear) [2].
For my makeup I used Bare Minerals' Original Foundation [3], blush [4], and Mineral Veil [5]. I used Benefit Cosmetic's High Beam highlighter [6] on my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, inner corner of my eyes, and under my brows. I used Too Faced's brow pencil [7] in my hair color, and Anastasia's clear brow gel [8]. For my eyes I used Urban Decay's famous Eyeshadow Primer Potion [9], two Sephora brand eyeshadows [10] to contour my eyes, and Stila's liquid eyeliner pen [11] to create a cat eye. Then I used Sephora brand false lashes [12] on the outer corners of my eyes. I used DUO's black lash glue [13] to apply. For my lips I used Sephora brand red lipstick [14] in my perfect shade. To finish everything off, I used Urban Decay's All Nighter finishing spray [15].
Many people wouldn't use 15 products on their face, but the end result was very light (thanks to the mineral foundation) and never budged. Even when I returned home at 5:00 am and slept in my makuep until 8:00 am, nothing budged.
I'd like to thank my parents for funding my ENTIRE prom night, it turned out VERY special because of them!
